Jet engine based on 3D Printable Jet Engine by CATIAV5FTW
To make my first print so large and so complex.
It is not perfect but I learned a lot from him.

Re: Model Jet Engine

Printer?
Filament?
Settings?
Post processing?

Is that glow in the dark filament in the throat simulating burner tubes?

Re: Model Jet Engine

Printer: Prusa i3 Mk3.
Filament: Spectrum. White and grey PLA, Green it's fluorescent PET-G
Settings: Typical settings in Slic3r for materials. Most of the elements required matching the proper values of supports and fillings. A lot of interesting tests and fun. First, I printed white elements, which is why some of them are of lower quality
Post processing: Only ex excess filaments by printing supports. I did not want to make super wonders out of it, every element of the shoulder is printed with other paramters. Now, if I want to choose the right one, I look at the model.

Is that glow in the dark filament in the throat simulating burner tubes? The glow gives a bright green fluorescent filament.
