A cautionary tale, or third time FTW.
Step 1: never leave your printer unattended for too long. Never had a total blob before (or since). Found out early thin support delaminated, curled up and caught the nozzle, melted on, tore off the rest of the print, then just kept squirting plastic behind the blockage. Good stuff.
Step 2: how I learned to stop worrying and love the brim. Brim solved the early delam, but kept battling corner curls knocking head and eventual layer shift. I had to abort.
Step 3: profit! I read about PINDA hats and haven't looked back since.
