Led bridge lamp

Took almost two weeks of trial and error.
Prusa i3 original kit, ABS, LED addressable strip.

Later it will have 15 IR proximity sensor on the top to control each of the lamp segments and three rotary encoder knobs to adjust RGB components of light.

Re: Led bridge lamp

This is awsome!
I guess its modeled parametrically?
Grasshopper?

I used to work with a software called Generative Components, which had a fabrication tool.. I assume it could be used in a project like this, would love to try it!

Hello, Patrik!

Sorry for late reply, midsummer celebration carried me away 🙂
Unfortunately it's not parametric, I used Autodesk Fusion 360 to model it.
Never heard about Grasshopper before, will surely research it.

STL files are available http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1639224
