filament storage system

Complete filament storage system for the Lock&Lock food container( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BUKKBTO ) with desiccant holder, cheap China thermometer/hygrometer ( https://www.ebay.com/itm/291979194271 ). With magnetic filament type tablets.

I choose the Lock&Lock HSM952 2.5ltr container because a lot of 1kg spools fit perfectly inside the container. The container is complete air and watertight.

Enjoy it !

Re: filament storage system

Sweet, but too expensive for my 30+ rolls of spool 🙂
I prefer a big box with 10-12 Spools inside.

What a great idea, good job! 😉

PS: I'm just curious about the long term drift of hydrometer. I found out that even a more expensive hygrometer needs calibration and adjustment every 1-2 years.

I prefer a big box with 10-12 Spools inside.

Then just use this... Has worked great for me. They hold about 10 rolls each.

They usually can be found cheaper at like a local Walmart.. about $16
They seal really nice.

I also put one of these in each box.

That's actually exactly what I'm already doing 😉

I hope they work out long term. My experience w/ L&Ls is limited to kitchen/fridge use & geocaching. They worked OK in the kitchen (generally short-term use--a week or less). Not so much for geocaching (long term)--never found one that didn't leak. They all had standing/sitting water in them--far more than just condensation. 🙁

That's "MISTER Old Fart" to you!
