Prusament for PPE May Need Higher Printing Temperatures

I recently got two more rolls of Prusament Orange PETG for PPE and found that I was having underextrusion issues on the top layers of the ear savers. Increasing the print temperatures to 10 degrees higher than I've generally used with Prusament PETG seems to be providing improved results. Is there any difference in composition?

Regards,

Mark

High temp helps flow

I did all my PPE printing at 250C. It improved PETG flow, particularly at higher rates.

RE: Long Delayed Answer

Wow, that is a long delayed answer! I forgot I asked the question. Thanks for the answers though. I've come to just use the recommended temperatures as a guide and adjust temps from there as results dictate. I've become less interested in stringing as it is easy to remove and more interested in the quality of the surface finish. I now generally adjust temps to favor the latter. I get the best stringing reduction and surface finish improvement by drying my filament.
