USB Drive Files

I lost all of my GCODE files on my USB drive today.  So i started to reload them.  I noticed something odd in the "Folder View" of prusa connect.

I upload via PrusaSlicer using PrusaLink.  I have been specifying folders in the file name when uploading.

Example:

CGEPro\filename.gcode

You can see i have two folders in this view.  One is ghosted out saying "syncing".

I am wondering if there is a uppercase/lower case problem with folders that the CGEPro folder is coliding and possibly how all of my files were deleted.

Or maybe this folder view just has a bug as list view seems to work.

RE:

Hi, i'm kinda lost. Do you have two folders one named "CGE Pro" and the other CGEPro? Did you lose the CGE Pro? Is it gone also from the usb stick, or just not showing up in Connect? Did this happen after the firs upload to the folder or just randomly? Can you find out when do the files dissapear? A step by step instructions on what to do, so we can try and replicate the bug?
Something like this:
1 - Create a folder named "Foo"
2 - upload files to it through connect web interface
3 - Use PrusaSlicer to upload to connect and specify the path in the file name
4 - Files should disappear

RE: USB Drive Files

I've just had the same thing happen.  First, Saturday (two days ago), it said there were files on the USB, but gave errors when trying to delete one.  I put the USB in my computer and it had only the last bgcode file that was printed on it (where before it had all the sample files and bgcode files we had ever printed).  So, I reformatted the drive Fat32, then we did a print. For some reason the connect site still said all the files were on the drive, but since I formatted it, that's not possible.

Then after uploading a big bgcode file (33MB) the connect dashboard started saying that the USB drive had no files on it.  I put it in my computer and it tells me the drive must be formatted before use.  I put it back in the printer and it says there are no files on it.  The first problems occurred on previous firmware version (presumably 5.1.1?), the second happened after upgrading to 5.1.2+13478.  The drive is now showing that the primary partition is RAW.  I'm going to format it again and hopefully it will allow us to print.

RE: USB Drive Files

Yes, there is an issue for this in the prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy repo. You can upvote that one, or contact support. Unfortunately I cannot help with that in any way. Sorry
