PrusaLink starting (forever) (Pi has been used for a while so i assume not a hardware issue)

Hi

Pi Zero W2 (0.7.0rc3 and 0.7.0)

Mk3s with MMU2s

We had this working fine, the Pi was on 0.7.0rcs, we upgraded the printer to the latest firmware, same with the MMU3s, still working, we removed the Pi and upgraded to v0.7.0 as rc3 wont update, now it no longer connects (see image), i assume this is not a hardware issue, or is it, it says RPi booting so i assume it is communicating at some level....

Many Thanks

Hi, sorry for the trouble. Yes it's a SW issue. It's intermittent as sometimes PrusaLink connects before the MMU, so the printer version does not manage change to MK3s with MMU3 soon enough and PrusaLink does not re-check it after it connects. The workaround is to disable the MMU, connect PrusaLink and re-enable the MMU. 0.7.1 as an OTA update coming this month (that's my hopes and dreams anyways. It might end up being not this month and not an OTA update)

Thank you, seems to have worked, the turned off the MMU in settings, by the time i got back to the desk the webpage had updated... seems ok now (and i have v0.7.0 running so updates should also work)

Many Thanks

RE:

I assume this is still an issue?  Mine was ok, had to turn the MMU off and back on for it to connect to the printer and PrusaConnect again

Many Thanks
