Prusa Connect Authenticator
Wow good job, force use to use an authenticator that is iffy and you cant even figure out how to cancel the subscription, and it will not let me connect to the Prusa Connect with the code its giving me. This is a sh*t show...

We do not force you to use a specific one, choose whichever sounds non iffy to you. We don't even offer a subscription yet. If you want to deactivate the two factor, go to the account settings, click the little cog next to the two factor and deactivate it. The code generated by the authenticator app is valid for 30s. If the timer runs out, it runs out, it's the same for everyone: Facebook, PayPal, Microsoft, Amazon and so on, all use the same mechanism. Sorry for using the industry standard?

Me beef is when you do a search for Authenticator App it bring up this app https://authenticator.2stable.com/. I installed and it said it was free but asked for my card. As an idiot thinking this was the one you specified I entered my card information. I then noticed that if you do not cancel within 24 hrs., you will be billed 59 dollars. I said ok no biggie I will just cancel. Well there was no way to cancel on the app and had to call my credit card to get the number to call and cancel. This app is a scam. When you do a search like stated in the how to this is the first authenticator app that comes up and it matches the name stated exactly in the howto. Please be more specific as I already had the Microsoft authenticator app on my phone, but since when I did a search the other one showed up and matched the name stated in the howto blog I thought I needed to use it. I made a mistake but the instructions on which authenticator app to download needs to be more specific.

I tried and did not get a scam one. Just stick with a name brand one and you'll be as fine as everyone else is.
