I've just given up on the connect as it's always showing my printer is offline. It worked when I first got my MK4 and randomly showed offline, but lately no matter what I do, it shows offline, but the printer test shows it's wifi is fine. I know this is still in a Beta version, but for now Ive given up on it and back to swapping out USB sticks to do any work. Hate to complain, but I'm missing my old Octoprint as it worked all the time and I had a camera! This idea of using an old phone is just a bad idea. I do hope at some point that gets sorted out as well or I'll end up needing to buy that Beagle cam thing and I'd rather just use a good webcam that I have. I'll try connect again someday. It sure is nice when it worked before, although frustrating as it often went offline again.
As I type this, I'm printing,,,aaannnndddd..connect says it's offline. Been that way all day. Last time I saw it online was the update to 5.0. It uploaded to connect, and hours went by and it would not go online to update. Left it on for several days and at some point it went online and got the update to the printer, but I've not noted it connected since.
