Printer displays 'Sliced for different printer' warning incorrectly (printer model check)
- Printer type - MK3S + MMU2S
- Printer UUID (you can find it in Printer detail page - address line) -
- Printer firmware version - 3.14.1 / 3.0.3
- PrusaSlicer version (if applicable) - 2.9.4
- Description of the bug, including steps to reproduce (if possible): After updating the firmware, printer will show a warning when a GCODE file is chosen from SD 'sliced for different printer' (paraphrased), even though, the printer should match (and has not been changed in the slicer. The problem can be created as follows: take an (old) MK3S with MMU2S and flash both to latest (above) firmware versions. Create a gcode using prusaslicer with the version above designed for the printer 'Original Prusa i3 MK3S & MK3S+ & MMU2S'. Transfer gcode file to SD Card. Insert SD card into printer. Turn on printer. Select 'Print from SD' from menu. Select sliced file. The warning is displayed even though it should not be (it prints correctly).
My personal thoughts is that when they unified (did they?) the firmware for MMU2S and MMU3, now a MK3S+MMU2S thinks it's an MMU3, so the warning will show. I checked the GCODE in notepad and it shows:
M862.3 P "MK3SMMU2S" ; printer model check
So the GCODE is correct, but the printer firmware complains.

Check your firmware download - it is easy to download one for a slightly different machine version ...
And if you upgrade a printer and download the correct new firmware any stored gcode that previously worked will fail and need re-slicing with the new settings.
