Print stopped after filament change

PrusaLink type: Raspberry Pi Zero
PrusaLink version: 0.6.0
Printer type: MK3S
Printer UUID: 50bfe0d7-a312-4e97-963b-1f5baf1f12b
Printer firmware version: 3.10.1
PrusaSlicer version (if applicable): 2.4.2

Went into Tune -> Change filament, unload was successful, but I had some trouble with inserting the filament (30D TPU), so repeated loading twice (using "Filament not loaded" option).
After the second retry it loaded properly, which I confirmed with the knob, then the printer extruded some more as usual and moved the head back to the print, but then it stopped.

Prusa Connect was showing it as "ATTENTION", but the printer just aborted printing, kept the temperatures and went idle.

I have the same issue, using generated G code containing the color change at a certain layer height. Unload worked fine and it reloaded, however, once the new filament was loaded, the tool head moved into position to start but did nothing after reaching that point. In the printer menu the print was stopped as I could choose to start a new print or other settings normally unavailable during printing. Tried twice, once where the hot end was just parked for the filament change and another where the hot end had to heat up again after parking for filament change.

RE: Print stopped after filament change

Hi, yes, this bug is well known, fixed and the fix is released as a minor fixup version 0.6.1. Sorry the update routine is still so convoluted. We'll improve it in one of the next releases. Sorry for the failed prints

Thank you for the information 🙂

Please don't be. We are here to beta test it and all have agreed to the implications 😉
