Network Error on MKS+

PrusaLink type (Raspberry Pi Zero / Pi 3 / Pi 4) = Raspberry Pi Zero W

PrusaLink version = 0.6.1

Printer type = Original Prusa i3 MK3S/+

Printer UUID (you can find it in Printer detail page - address line) = 3bc2ccf1-1a25-46f3-9213-afd9d8039d6d and c17a414b-f32b-44b1-b1c7-fbff20aa7ede and f32b3e91-6882-4a20-bbc4-6a2a6a9809fd

Printer firmware version = 3.12.2-5713

PrusaSlicer version (if applicable) = 2.5.2 64Bit

Description of the bug, including steps to reproduce (if possible). I have been getting a Network Error on the machines all of them seem to be having this issue. The display on the machine will show ERR: then the network IP address. My network for everything else seems to be fine even on the 2.4 GHZ WiFi. The machines go in and out of this state. I have reset the machines and even turned them off and back on. I have reset my network but it seems to not matter. I have had to start using the SD card again for some prints because when I need to start a print I can not get the machine to start. This was not happening as much until about a week ago and now it is regularly happening. Any help would be nice. I have 3 machines and that is why I have 3 UUIDs shown. Thanks for you assistance in this matter.

Hi, yes, Connect was having problems over the weekend. Sorry about that. This even could have impacted the print quality if one did not disable the error beeps. In the next version, beeps for network errors will be off by default.

PrusaConnect seems to be down at the moment.  But the local PrusaLink still works for network printing.

I was not getting any beeps just the ERR. I did not have any print failures either during this time. Currently, all is running as expected. Thanks for your help it is greatly appreciated.

RE: Network Error on MKS+

The first time around I missed the 0.6.1. The beeps start on 0.7.0RC1 and will end with RC4, but if our servers have a bad time, stuff like this will still show up on the LCD.

RE: Network Error on MKS+

Thank you for the advice. I actually like the Prusa Connect system a lot. I work in IT as an Enterprise Software Architect so I understand the issues that come up when running these types of enterprise systems. I would rather tell them my experience so it may help them troubleshoot and make the system better for not only me but for the community as a whole. I do appreciate the work Prusa has put into the system and it is still in Beta so I expect these kinds of issues. The data from the machines I have provided to them I hope is useful to them as well. I like the community Prusa has created and I hope to add something positive to it now and into the future. Maybe more than you wanted to know but that is my reasoning behind my decision to stay with Prusa Connect. Thanks again.
