Aborted transfer stuck and blocking new transfers

Hi all,

first of all big thanks to everyone involved! It's really great to have a solid first party solution for wireless printing. We're still having trouble with the Wifi-Connection and a lot of "No IP" errors, but I will try moving the router closer to the printer as soon as there's less people in the office. When the connection is fine, everything works great and the printer also doesn't stop if the connection is dropped during the print.

When I send a file through PrusaSlicer and the connection is dropped during the transfer, it obviously get's aborted. But when I then try sending it again, I get an error that only one file at a time can be transferred:

On Prusa Connect and PrusaLink I can see the transfer but there is no way to cancel it:

When I try uploading a file through Connect while this transfer is ongoing it actually says the print has been uploaded successfully but it doesn't actually appear in the list.  As far as I can see the only way to resolve this and start a new transfer would be restarting the Pi, is this correct?

Prusa i3 MK3

Raspberry Pi Zero W (1)

PrusaLink 0.6.1

Cheers

Hi, this is known and fixed in the upcoming release. The new behavior has it time out after 30s.

Thank you for reporting it tho, this would suck if it slipped through.

As for "No IP", you might want to try this. I feel kind of stupid plugging this thing in every thread mentioning "No IP" but it really solved the issue for me.

Plug it everywhere, because I forget to

Yes, thanks for the design and for plugging it! I‘ve already bookmarked it after seeing it in another thread and will surely try it out if reducing the distance between printer and router doesn’t help.

I've just had this happen (first time) and its not clearing after 30s (been a few hours now) - its now completely blocked file transfers from Prusa Connect to the printer - Printer rebooted and Connect restarted but connect still reports Printer in Error state - Printer thinks its fine and is happily printing form the SDCARD now.  How can I clear out a stuck transfer from Connect?

Hi, did you re-boot the pi? Printer reset does not reset the raspberry pi.

I thought I did a power cycle but now I come to think of it I may have just done a printer reset....... When it finishes the current 10hr print I will power cycle it and report back - many thanks
