Sounds like Prusa has sorted it, which is great! I'll wait for the formal release though as mine works fine after changing my WiFi password to be 16 characters.

Yes, can confirm the manual update to 3.1.3 was working fine. No more issues with not connecting the wifi, after shutdown and restart.
Hopefully the update is published so everyone has a benefit, and the next updates are getting better checked by the development team before release.

RE: Buddy Cam Core One Wifi connection failed after update to FW 3.1.2

I dowloaded it and I still am getting "wifi connection succeeded" messages, a bit less, but still happens.

I let it sit for a bit 30 mins or so, the "wifi connection Succeeded" messages have stopped, and the camera is hung/unreachable in Prusa Connect and it is not providing the controls for the camera. I also have it setup for RSTP to a surveillance system (while it was workign) and it is not showing any video at all.

For me 3.1.3 has not changed anything

This camera is a waste of money.

Weird, for me it worked (but luckily I got the camera in the bundle, thus I am less critical).

My camera is now working after a re-start with 3.13.

Thank the dev team for the help and update.

From version 3.1.0 to version 3.1.3, the situation repeats. Communication error. Is it worth including a script with the next printer firmware update that will cause a cyclic power outage for the Buddy3dCam? The effect will be the same as if it had to be done manually. 😀

The new Firmware 3.1.4 is available and works! Easy update in the buddy3d settings.

RE:

Just a note, on my new Core One L, the camera didn't want to work with a 24 char password. Changing to 16 chars worked instantly, and now the camera is sadly upgrading, so not sure it will work after the upgrade again… But it does.

So: firmware 3.1.4, ascii-only SSID, 16 char password, works.

RE: Buddy Cam Core One Wifi connection failed after update to FW 3.1.2

How does one tell if the firmware has updated or not? It said it was updating, but didn't say complete or reset that I could notice.

I can't get the camera to connect. There is no was I'm changing the SSID for my wifi to remove the "-" that is in it, as that would mean changing 10's of devices and take hours of setting everything else up again.
