Z Calibration failure

Okay brand new to 3d printing. I have a prusa mini+ that was given to me by a family member. It was already put together and it worked for him. So I am basically taking an operational unit that has been boxed up for a year and trying to get it working. Everything is working fine except when I get into calibration it always fails on the z calibration. It starts at the bottom and moves to the top and it stops when it gets to the top and that's when I get the z calibration failed error. I've done these zip tie spacing at the bottom, So I'm not sure what else to do and I can't seem to find anything that's helpful.

I would appreciate any help you can provide or links for videos for me to watch on how to fix this. Please talk to me like I'm an idiot, though while technologically savvy, I've never messed with 3d printers before.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Z Calibration failure

Latest up date. Did a hard factory reset. That seems to affects the stall failure at the top but now when it goes through the testing setup it gets to z calibration it goes all the way to the top stops and comes down like it should gets down to the bed and then I get another error.

It says the previous test must be completed before this one, And here's what the QR code leads me to

self test not passed prusa mini #12537.
