Under Extrusion / Horizontal Lines

All:

I purchased a used Mini for our business because we got slammed with orders. We have several more Mini's on order but Prusa is so darn backed up atm. Anyway there are two issues that I am having. I am very confident in my filament and the gcode as this works consistently with my other Mini's in my farm.

First I am getting classic under extrusions where you can see gaps in the filament on the outside perimeters. So I went ahead and started increasing the flow. In order to get rid of it, I had to increase it 15%. To me that seems extreme. Thoughts on what would be causing this in the first place? Btw, put a brand new nozzle in the printer upon arrival. I really would like to get that flow back to normal and am wondering what I may have to do to accomplish this.

Second problem is horizontal lines across the print. I am printing at .1 layer height with a .25 nozzle. On my other Prusa's the pieces are smooth to the touch. If I run my finger nail over this piece, I can feel the layer ridges as I go up the piece.

Do you think these two issues are related at all? Would love feedback/ideas on what might be happening.

Thanks in advance for any of your wisdom out there in 3D printing land!

Dave
