Did you connect the LCD flat cable the right way round? I would check all pin assignments again at this opportunity.

Any way i install the cable the result is the same. I noticed my printer is slightly different from the instructions. The connection on the board has the notch which the 'tooth' of the cable fits into facing away from the board whereas on the instructions it faces toward the board. I dont know if that means anything but thats how it is. I would like to try replacing the cable, where would i find it on amazon?

If you still have warranty and your cables are not suitable, I would contact the Prusachat. They would send you new ones if necessary. So you don't have to spend money for a possibly unsuitable product.

Could you post pictures of the faulty or unsuitable product?

I agree. Give this exact information to Prusa. Maybe the LCD connector on the board got installed incorrectly.

To let everyone know i pulled out the connector and flipped it and it now works.

To be clear: You pulled off the plastic housing from the board and flipped it?
