Starting with the Mini+
I have purchased 3 prusa mini+ (2 in Kit + 1 Assembled)I couldn't have got off to a worse start I think.
The pre-assembled Mini+ (1) got stuck in its first coil at 300g (Pla Smartfil Recycled) 200-220 recommended. After the temperature tower I set it at 190. It was the one with the least amount of threads.
The Mini+ (2) got stuck on its first print doing the temperature test (photo). Now I find that on the Mini+ (1) only half of the filament has come out, I think. From the pusher wheel to the hottend it didn't come out.And on the Mini+ (2) I can't even get the filament out. Both in one and in the other if I press purge nothing comes out and unloading doesn't do anything either.
Add that the Mini+ (1) has a dirty pulley in the photo and the MIni+ (2) has a clean pulley.
I have the mini+3 half assembled and I'm afraid.
I come from direct extrusion with Artillery and this system has caught me by surprise.
RE: Starting with the Mini+
The Mini is picky with filament. I would not start with recycled filament. I'd start with fresh, well dried Prusament and check the printers out. Once it works well with that, you can try something else. I tried plenty of brands that just did not work well.

Mark
RE: Starting with the Mini+
Thank you. I had read that the 850 didn't get on well with the mk3s+, but I didn't think this would happen with the mini. I always assume that everything can be printed.
