Quality degrading as the print goes higher
Hi all:
We are noticing a slight degradation in quality of our prints as the print goes higher. We are printing with a very high quality set of settings.
.025 nozzle
.10 line height
We are printing VERY slow settings. We have tried to halve the speed settings to get quality to get where we want it.
See attached pic. Again, these are slight ringings we are getting towards the top of the print, but really want to get them addressed. These slight tolerance issues impact playability of our product. I might also add that when we print even longer pieces, the problem gets worse.
Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to provide.
Dave

You could try to tighten the belts a little bit, decreasing the acceleration settings, look for mechanical issues that could be causing vibrations.

RE: Quality degrading as the print goes higher
Hi all. Tightened belts and will give it another try. To be honest the printer was brand new so I didn't think about that. BUT they were loose, especially the Y axis. Testing print now.

All:
GREAT results. Should have been obvious to do this, but honestly my brain turns on and off without me knowing it. Appreciate the help!

I would love to see a side by side before and after also.
