Pursa Mini Plus filament threading issue
I have recently got a Pursa Mini Plus and it is having an issue with the filament. When I try to load a new filament it will bring me to a prompt where it asks me to continue and put the filament into the tube I do so but the filament feels like it clicks into some mechanism and then it doesn't move. It doesn't feed it into the extruder and when I try to unload the filament it doesn't come out. I have to yank the filament out which I am worried that it is ripping off part of the filament and will eventually ruin the intake feed for the filament. Does anyone know how I can fix this or is it better to just send it back and get a new printer?
RE: Pursa Mini Plus filament threading issue
First thing I would check is that this screw is flush when filament is NOT loaded. The screw should be flush with the plastic and not tightened.

Two things to try
- ensure you have cut the filament diagonally so the tip of the filament is pointy
- as soon as you ‘press to continue’, give the filament a good push into the tube to get it started.
Mine usually loads without problem but occasionally it needs a helping hand.

@katang
thank you for the help, it was partially because the screw was too tight and because of debris in the mechanism as well. But it is now working smoothly.
