print leveling and temperature
Hi,
I've finished to assemble my prusa mini, everything is working fine, but before each print it needs leveling and needs to reach a certain temperature before leveling. is it possible to level the bed while it's eating up for the print? or is there a reason for the temperature of the bed and nozzle to be at a certain temperature for leveling?
Thanks
RE: print leveling and temperature
Yes there are reasons. Things expand as they warm up. By heating the bed before levelling you get a more accurate and consistent result. Same with the extruder. However the extruder heats faster and you dont want filament leaking out during the levelling process. So it heats to a lower temp where the filament doesnt leak first.
Then it heats to final print temp just before it actually starts.

Ok understood, thanks for the explanation!
