Nozzle Change
Hi all,
I attempted a nozzle change a week or ago from 0.4 mm stock nozzle to a 0.8 mm e3d nozzle from Prusa’s website.
I followed the Prusa website guide, including the part about leaving a 0.5 mm gap between nozzle and heat block.
After a few prints I noticed a leak above the heat block.
I disassembled the heat block and heat break to clean it and reinstalled it all, but I no longer have the 0.5 mm gap between the nozzle and heat block.
Is this normal? Or should there still be a gap? Thanks.
RE:
Your nozzle must be against the heatbreak. There is supposed to be a gap, also. Click on the image for a bigger version.
