Models are getting printed shrunken in height

Hi

I'm another Newcomer to the 3d printing scene. After I had a lot of fun building the Prusa Mini Plus printer, I had mediocre results.

My models got printed in the wrong height and the the extruder collided with the model all the time while printing.

Another issue has been, that I've not been able get a good first layer calibration. In the back it needed around 1mm and in the front 0.4mm, despite the automatic leveling.

I've not been able to find another post with this issue. However I've been able to solve it by re-doing the screws of the heatbed as suggested by another user https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/assembly-and-first-prints-troubleshooting/bed-not-aligned-how-can-i-solve-this/#post-610157

And by re-doing the screws of the X-Axis as described in "Step 26 Mounting the X-axis" https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/3-x-axis-extruder-assembly_199519#200484

I hope this helps someone else in the future 😀

Cheers,
Markus

RE: Models are getting printed shrunken in height

There's a lot of good information in the Prusa Knowledgebase, always worth checking out. E.g., for skewed print surfaces, see https://help.prusa3d.com/article/xz-axis-skew-correction-mini_158518

Looks like you've found a fix. If not, please provide more details so the friendly people here can try and help you.
