Layer shift when model has non-contiguous wall

I have this problem when printing model with non-contiguous wall on Prusa Mini. I have no idea what causing this. I have no problem printing other model with contiguous wall.

Btw, Prusa Mini is my second Prusa printer, the MK3S can print this model flawlessly with the same filament.

Check your grub screws.  Make sure they are lined up correctly and look at this page:

If MK3 prints this correctly, it is probably not due to the gcode, provided the slicer settings for the Mini are correct. This could also indicate a hardware problem (linear bearings, pulleys, loose belts...)

Do you use the original Prusa profiles in the Prusaslicer?

@charles-h13

I just checked the grub screws, they are tight enough.

@karl-herbert

I use the default slicer print settings for Mini. I chatted with Prusa support earlier today. This is what he told me:

It looks like there are differences at those areas for both the volumetric rate and the print speed

He adjusted my 3mf file (Lower volumetric rate and external perimeter speed) and the print output is better ... but the surface still noticeably wavy.

@i-adisak

If you have contacted the Prusachat, I would stay on until the problem is solved. I think the whole thing is due to a mechanical problem. As a preventive measure, calibrate the extruder and clean the hotend (several cold pulls).
