Jagged mulitple perimeters on first layer instead of solid objects

Hi Guys

I had one of my SNES controllers scanned professionally - when importing into Prusa slicer - the first layer perimeters are all segmented and jagged - is there a way to fix this? Does anyone know why it is not setting the controller as an entire object? I tested a print for fun - and as the slicer shown - it prints all those pieces separate - I know it will fuse them together as the layers build - but I really don't want the structural integrity to be compromised nor the unsightly jagged perimeter lines.

See attached pic

Thanks!

just an update  - I tried multiple slicers and even an online one and all slicers when positioned in this orientation, produce the same result. So this time I am changing the position to vertical with supports - I will test this and report back.

Thats because its a smooth sloping surface that has been sliced into layers.  The lower your layer height the better it becomes but for something like that controller its not going to get much better in that orientation.  Vertically would be better but then you will have to deal with the same issues on the ends.  and also have to deal with the fact that printed on end it will need support for the extreme overhang.

Tilting it back at around 30-45 degrees of the vertical with the supports going on the inside *might* work the best.

Basically with a fdm printer you are going to have to post process the c**p out of it no matter what angle you print it at if you want it smooth.

For stuff like that SLA is more suited.
