Issues with Prusa Mini first print
  1. I recently got a used prusa mini and I am trying to print a spool holder. When I tried to print it, the bases printed well but after that nothing seemed to work. Are there any settings or parts that need changed so that the stringing stops and the top layer is better? Also, what would cause the base to break off of the round piece and why does it look so rough?

It looks like you may be getting some warping - a picture of the underside of the print would confirm.  Thoroughly cleaning the print sheet and making sure the printer is not operating in  draft are the first steps.

Your filament is damp, drying it (look up threads here) will greatly reduce the stringing.

You are printing the spoolholder in an inherently weak orientation, if it continues to break save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Cheerio,

Did you perform maintenance check on it?

(also notice articles on the left under maintenance section)

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
