Gaps on Top Layer Infill and Perimeter

Just look a the pictures, the problem occurs on 0.4 and 0.6 mm Nozzle and different filament brands but all of it PLA.

Anyhow it is ever reproducible looking at the white rectangle objects, it is always appearing on the same spots. Seems link short movements and retraction, but just guessing.

Any ideas what this could be, anything appreciated. I can live with it, but would be interesting if it can be fixed - you know learning by doing 😉

Thanks

Looking at the top surfaces, particularly gaps in the top surface shown in the 2nd picture, it appears that you are under-extruding. Try slowing down. If that doesn't fix it, calibrate your extrusion multiplier for that filament. You may also want to tune linear advance.

If you save your parts & settings out as a project 3MF file, zip it and attach it to a response here, you may get better suggestions.

@bobstro

Ah, ok, next time I keep the 3MF files, if I create them now it would not make much sense I assume ?

Anyhow, I only see the gaps if the path is - lets say - short, otherwise it does not appear.

Another thing, which I am interested in, because I haven't seen these gaps in "earlier" prints. Especially not when I got my Prusa Mini. Could it be that the filament makes troubles? The filament I am using here is a few month old already. I store it in a drybox if not in use, but otherwise I do not unload the filament after every print, so it keeps sitting next to the printer for days (sometimes weeks) before I unload it and put it back into the dry box.

So could moisture be a reason for this too ?
