Flipping Steel Sheet - Z-Axis needs readjustment - is this normal?
Hi
I got my Mini a few days ago, so learned lots of thing the last days already but one thing I am not sure if this is normal. If I do flip the smooth steel sheet, the Z-Axis Values does not match any more.
If I flip the sheet back to the side I used to calibrate the Z-Value it sticks perfectly again.
Is this normal, do I need to adjust the Z-Value for every side of the sheet? If yes, this is fine, I am just wondering a little.
Thanks

nobody ? any tips, if this is normal.
As I said, I am new to this and haven't found any information about it where I looked.

No it is not. I always flip my sheet after a print and I've never re-calibrated the z-height since the first day. No idea how to help, though.

Ok thanks, I will give the "flip" another try.
Perhaps it makes a difference if you flip it "cold" instead of "warm" after a printing with ASA.

@herbert
I cannot get mine to pass Z calibration. Maybe i better get blue tape off steel plate?

I cannot get it to z calibrate at all

have you done this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=10&v=6Nip9EnSz7Q&feature=emb_logo
Mini with FW:4.4.1 + SuperPINDA + Bondtech Heatbreak + PC4-M8 couplers + 1 piece boden

I am not using any tape, the steel bed is perfect to be used without any tape at all to get things sticking. Also in most cases, I do not need to use any tools to get the print of the steel bed, just bend the steel bed and it gets loose.
Anyhow, for calibration of the the printer, I found it easier to use

And for a more detailed look at your bed, without using any 3rd party software I used
And created a STL and GCode to be used on the Prusa MINI
