RE: First prints - not sticking to bed enough
I don't use the Mini, but I am sold on the Layerneer Bed Weld adhesive, both to help with adhesion and as a release agent.
Even the finest 'square waves' of the first layer of support material will stick perfectly with this. I've posted photos of this. Search the forum for 'Layerneer' and you should find them.
I would say this gives better adhesion than the glue stick with a thinner layer on the build plate using the bottle applicator.
