First Print Problems with gobs of filament

My Prusa i3 MK3S+ was printing fine until I tried a filament with glitter embedded.  That managed to screw up my nozzle, so I replaced the nozzle and then started the calibration process.  When I adjust the Z axis to the point where the filament is sticking to the bed, the test print comes out well.  But then when I go to print, the first layer is as above.  The red circles indicate excess blobs of fillament.  The purple arrows point to areas where there is under-extrusion &/or tears (i.e. holes) and the yellow arrows highlight the threading once the print is stopped and the printhead moves to its stop position.  I have no idea how to correct this.  I've tried altering the temp, the retraction (up to 7.0), Z-hopping - and nothing helps.  I am hoping someone here can steer me in the right direction to a solution!
