First Print. Pics inside need advice please

Setting is at z height -.900

Not sure if I need to up the flow which is at 95. Ive tried the whistle and it seems the first layer is never enough to seal the whistler first layer. Just looking for any recommendations, thanks.

Your Z calibration needs to go lower. Lower the head until the zig zag lines are lightly flattened on top and you will be getting close.

At the end of the calibration you are aiming to print a single layer *sheet*. It should be possible to peel it off in one and fold it without the threads seperating. If it breaks into lines it is too high, not squished enough. If it is a single sheet but with wavy lines or drag marks on it you are too low.

For most people it pays to use 7x7 mesh bed levelling.

Cheerio,

What Diem said, but also, regarding flow rate.  In case you aren't doing it already, I would recommend using the stock setting for your filament (if it is among the long list of filaments with stock settings in Prusa Slicer and if not go for some generic stock settings for the material class: "generic PLA" or "generic PETG"... whatever applies). Use that at least until you have the first layer calibration completed succesfully. If you then see that you are over or underextruding you can modify the extrusion factor in the slicer.

@tj-3 Don't be confused by what @thejiral said. There are no PrusaSlicer settings involved when doing the first calibration via the LCD menu. Just do as @diem said.

Besides that, @thejiral is right about the default settings for slicing, always start there, don't change anything on a hunch.
