Filament stuck in filament sensor

I recently purchased a second-hand Mini+ and after I purged the previous filament I was unable to re-load the printer with new filament as I couldn't seem to push it through the sensor up into the plastic tube even with considerable force -

I can't quite see it but when I look up the tube I can see something black blocking it (photo below with the stuck filament circled)

How do I go about removing this please? I checked the manual and I could only find reference to blockages in other parts of the printer

The Prusa Mini filament sensor can be easily disassembled for cleaning and repair purposes.

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.
