Filament stuck in extruder

Hi, just received my Mini+ the other day. I used the silver Prusament PLA sample to do one test print, then used my brown Prusament PLA to do another. When switching from sliver to brown, I had some issues unloading and reloading, but after running the load and unload funcitons a few times I managed to do it. Now I want to swtich back to sliver, so I ran the unload function, but the filament won't come out of the PTFE tube. I have run the load and unload functions several times and I cannot get the filament to move either way. I don't hear any grinding coming from the gears so I don't think it's stuck in there, but I don't know what else would be the problem.

Any advice would be great, Thanks.

RE: Filament stuck in extruder

I would recommend you disassemble your extruder to see if any filament is stuck inside.

You can adjust the tension on the Mini here:

It is also important that the hotend is not clogged or the filament is stuck. This happens sometimes with PLA, because this material is sensitive to heat and quickly becomes soft in the area of the hotend (heatbreak) - keyword "heatcreep"
