Calibration cube doesn't print beyond a few layers

I tried printing out the test cube following the instructions from https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/extrusion-multiplier-calibration_2257 but after a few layers the nozzle temperature drops off so nothing is extruded. The print profile is clean apart from the changes that get made after switching to vase mode.

The first thing to look for is a loose or dislodged plug.  See section 18 and onwards here:

Cheerio,

Curiouser and curiouser!

Well, I printed it again via octoprint and it worked fine. I tried twice from the USB and both suffered this problem. I also changed the filament profile back to the default Prusament one, which I thought shouldn't have mattered. I have been using Polyterra, which doesn't need as much heat according to the blurb so the bed and nozzle temperatures were a bit lower, but that's it. So there are a few variables that could potentially highlight an issue or a bug. I'm sure the plugs are ok since I've been printing  a lot of tall pieces lately and I've carried out a check. It's a bit weird if it comes down to the filament profile but probably more worrying if it's an issue with something else, like the USB.
