Ventilation Door sensor hack

If I were to attach a micro-switch to my ventilation vent, is there a way that it could be wired to the buddy or GPIO board, and gcode could be altered to know that the door is closed or open?

Seems possible from what I know but"

Why don't you attach a servo to open or close the ventilator door depending on the material? That would be a nice hack!

@GreenPea - Yes, that is an excellent idea - as long as you could also do it manually.

Wouldn't something like this do what you want? Core One Automatic Chamber Vent
