Everyone jumping to conclusions. For everything else there is Mastercard.

Could the tools be placed further down, I want all the tools inside between the build plate and the wall of the skadis mod.

The tools would be quite hard to reach as the door only open few degrees angle down.

Now would be good time to learn a CAD tool and make the changes yourself.

So this is not a threat to him. So learning CAD. Do you know what it took us recently to explain to him how to assemble and calibrate a printer. And some CAD? He'll rather bother with pointless ideas that should be better done by someone else. He's quite good at it!

Just some friendly advice Butters. I didn't start to have fun with this hobby until I learned how to create my own designs. I started with OpenSCAD (since I code for a living it was easy to learn) then I moved on to FreeCAD and Fusion 360. If I need a change so someone's design I can do that or I can make my own from scratch.

I always knew I could load it into Fusion. I just thought of mentioning it to the designer; whether he wants to make the change or do a different version of the part in the future. It's been a while but I did start off with CAD a long time ago it's been a while long before 3D printing.

It's just that your change is for you. I'm sure if you get 10 people in a room and ask them what they want to change, you'll get 10 different opinions. The author provided the STEP files which makes this really simple (if you know even the basics of using a CAD tool). You can then modify it however you want and then post it as a remix on Printables for others.
