Prusa mini and OctoPrint print time question
Hi!
By default OctoPrint UI shows only rough estimates for "Approx. Total Print Time" and "Print Time Left". You can get better readins by using a plugin called "M73 ETA Override".
The UI still shows rounded up values, and if you hover you get the accurate one. 15 minute resolution is quite coarse if there's all the space in the world to show in minute accuracy. So I cannot see the accurate time on mobile for example. Do you know if you can get the more accurate time to be shown in the UI directly? Another plugin which could help?
RE: Prusa mini and OctoPrint print time question
Yeah, the Default Octoprint print time estimate is very wrong, for example, yesterday I had a 6-hour print and it said it will take 30 hours to print even though 10 minutes later it said it will need 20 hours.

It has been close enough for me
RE: Prusa mini and OctoPrint print time question
The issue was not about the time estimate accuracy, as you can see if you read the original post. You can get it accurate with the mentioned plugin and verbose gcode generation.
The question was if there are ways to make Octoprint display the estimate properly.
thanks.

Print time genius plugin does a better job at estimation for me and displays it fine as long as your files have verbose G-Code generation on.

Sorry, I misread your original post.
RE:
You don’t see the behavior in your machine as highlighted in the screenshot? Do you have any other related plugins installed besides the M73 plugin?
