Octoprint & Micro USB Support/Guard

Hi all,

Had a 4 hour print going and I was moving my mini to try to identify a vibration - and my micro usb cable moved in the port and the mini disconnected from Octoprint!

Maybe there are two questions - it's too late now - but I'm wondering if I could have resumed the print from Octoprint after reconnecting and finding the last gcode?

Anyone know of a support and/or guard to secure the cable to prevent this?

Yes… I think. I can link a video I watched quite recently how to do it.

Oh yeah there is a helpfull gcode plugin in octoprint to modify gcode 😉

I belive it was called gcodeeditor

Wow - so maybe all isn't lost - I could try method #1 and slice it at the remaining height and super glue!  Thank you so much @foxytisy!  As far as the guard, someone suggested duct tape, lol. 🤣 😆
