I really like the MK3s extruder... I made a version that fits the mini
Its a work in progress. I'll update this if anyone is interested.
RE: Mini MK3s
Finally ran my first PETG print and it worked with no stringing with good bridging

RE: Mini MK3s
i am done with the functional changes. it now prints with no errors, just as self-test and mesh bed leveling. i just need to tweak a couple more things!
i have printed PLA, PETG and ASA ... with no issues or stringing
RE: Mini MK3s
I have posted my files for the MK3S hotend for the Prusa MINI
RE: Mini MK3s
Looks good, I hope to one day make the Mini a direct drive extruder with dual z axis (like a true Mini MK), this is a step in that direction, cheers. Do you know how much mass your changes introduce compared to the stock hotend?
Also, I see your MINDA probe is actually a PINDA from a MKxx, does that seem to work ok? Have you had any issues with mesh bed leveling or inconsistent first layers? Did you need to modify anything for it to fit or work properly?
RE: Mini MK3s
@malcmcm
hi there, we did modify the x carriage body to hit on the same place as mini on the bed, we are waiting for the heated bed and the second z axis to build it.
we will let you to follow the post where files are for the upcoming updates pictures and issues we might encounter.
cheers
