Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
Since the latest firmware locks you out of the printer controls while connected to Octoprint, what are folks doing for filament changes? My current process is to hit reset, which disconnects Octoprint, do the filament change at the printer, then reconnect Octoprint. I may be missing something. Anyone got an easier way?
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
I've been doing the same thing. Seems to work just fine, and Octoprint can reconnect without issue.

Unfortunately this does not work, if you have do do a filament change during a print 😕
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
Have you posted this question on the OctoPrint board.
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
It has been already discussed here https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/user-mods-octoprint-enclosures-nozzles/filament-change-with-octoprint/ and there is already an issue on GitHub for that https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues/362 . I guess we have to wait for the next firmware update.
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
Provided that it's possible to emulate your actions on the printer controls with GCode, then it must be possible from OctoPrint. What harm can it do to pose the question on OctoPrint board?
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
To late to edit my previous, just happened to see a plugin called Change_Filament.
RE: Filament Change With Octoprint and 4.05?
Is anyone smarter than me (probably much smarter than me!) able to work out what the settings should be for the Change Filament plugin on the Mini?
