Can you add 0.5mm nozzle profile as a default profile for the Prusa Mini+
Is it possible to add a 0.5mm nozzle profile to prusaslicer as a default profile like the 0.25, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8?
I know that it is possible to add a new printer profile but all the filament settings and so on will not be usable with that new profile.
I looked everywhere and did not find a solution.
Maybe I used the wrong tags?! I do not know. But if someone has an answer, that would be really nice! 🙂
I also asked the support if they will add a default 0.5mm nozzle profile with the ne Prusaslicer version but there are no plans to do that. I think it is a bit odd especially when prusa is selling a 0.5 nozzle? 😀
Thanks in advance.

Like you, I've been searching, to no avail. Prusa sells a 0.5mm nozzle, exactly the same as they do the 0.6mm, but outside of the shop the 0.5mm does not exist. No profiles for it, nobody cares and it's probably been years since they've offered it first. Very frustrating.

🙁 😀
In the meantime I managed to get a profile working for my mini but it is not integrated as the other Default Profiles so I had to edit every profile for the filaments and so on. Which was what I really did not want to do but yeah..
I would give my profile for a 0.5mm nozzle to the public but it is not a Stock Prusa Mini+ anymore so I don't think it would really help anyone.
Heatbreak is from Bondtech
Extruder is from Bondtech
Changed the cooling to a combination of these two things

And then a Micro Swiss Nozzle for E3D V5-V6 0.5mm
Right side with the finished profile. Left side (not in the focus but I think one can see that it is not good quality) an old profile. Now the only thing left is getting the temperature better dialed in for less strings 🙂 Should only have to change 5°C down I think
Still I hope with the new Prusaslicer version they will eventually add a profile for a 0.5mm nozzle -> Arachne 🙂 I think it would really be the best between quality and printing time!
