Upgrading Y-axis to reduce Very Fine Artifacts (VFA)

I see the MK4S upgrade for the MK4 claims to improve the Y-axis print quality.

How does that y-axis upgrade compare with this mod?  https://www.printables.com/model/814369-mk4-y-axis-overhaul-reduce-vertical-artifacts-on-y/

There is some light ringing on features throughout and very fine bumps along the Y-axis on one side of my print.  The prints are being made at 3 instead of 15 max volumetric so it's going about half of normal speed.

Video file of the artifacts as you can see in the reflection: MVI_1471

I tightened up the belts using the printable belt tension meter.  The artifacts are mostly fixed.

After I upgraded to the MK4S the VFAs got worse. I have tried tightening the y axis belt at different tensions and it changes very little. I also used the accelerometer to recalculate the motor resonance frequency and the y axis changed quite a bit. I am going to see if the y axis mod helps.
