RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Yes, it works. I just didn't notice that it worked at first because there was no kind of visual feedback and I didn't check my Photos. 🙂 It would be a good idea to show a message like "Screenshot taken" when taking a screenshot so the user notices that something happened.
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
You need to upload the gcode to camera and print through camera, then you can get the timelapse video. If you want to print directly from Prusaslicer. please use the timer timelapse model
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
yes, I have sent your feedback to our technical department. I hope they can face up to this problem.
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
If your tech staff really wants a challenge, they should _really_ try to implement some kind of API that is compatible with one of the print targets in PrusaSlicer. It is terribly inconvenient to export the gcode and upload it to the Beagle manually when one can also simply click "upload and print" directly in the slicer.
This is the reason why I use the Beagle for printing only if I want a timelapse video. For all my regular prints, I upload directly to the printer from the slicer using the PrusaLink API because it is a 1000x more convenient. This should be the absolute top priority feature for Beagle as it really makes a huge difference in the user experience.
Prusa Slicer supports a bunch of APIs - pick one and implement it on the Beagle, please!
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Standalone applications are from the dinasour era. Only when they communicate and work with other apps well are they valuable today. I have a Beagle Camera V2 and the fact that it can only track printing data when it uploads and runs the Gcode is a problem for me.
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
I completely agree! the webcam must be integrated into prusa connect or at least that the camera app is able to sniff the sending of the print and all the necessary data

Hello,

The baudrate in the settings is 115200.
Is it necessary to have any specific configuration in the printer settings?
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Please tell me your printer model and firmware version. And what is your camera firmware?
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Hello,
The initial problem has been resolved and now it connects to the printer but does not show any data, only the temperature.
Prusa Mk4 printer with 5.1.0 and beagle v2 updated to the latest version.
Is it necessary to disable prusa connect, prusa link or the printer's wifi for correct operation?
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Not need, please send me a screenshot about the issue, and Also please tell me which slicing software version you are using.
In the camera firmware version V1.2.4, there will be a console window on the browser management page. Please copy the log content generated by this window and send it in document format to this email: [email protected]
RE:
Hi,
I add a screenshot as it does not show the values when it is printing.and txt file with de console log.
Camera firmware 1.2.4 and printer version 5.1.0
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
I have just detected another problem and that is that all the prints fail when I have the camera connected, initially I thought it could be due to version 5.1.0 but without the camera connected I have no problems and when I have it connected the printer restarts and does not finish no impression.
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Hi,
We tested on the MK4 printer (version 5.1), and the APP displayed various parameters normally. During testing, we only encountered a blue screen issue, but this issue was a bug in the firmware of MK4 (version 5.1). Apart from this issue, we have not encountered other printing failure issues before.
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
Hello,
The blue screen problem is what happens to me with all the prints when the camera is connected. Doesn't that error happen to you with all the prints in your tests?
On the other hand, that screenshot you posted, is the gcode added from the app itself? Maybe I think it should show data by starting printing from the USB and for it to show the data it must be from the app.

RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
I believe that most of them start the prints directly from Prusaslicer or from a flash drive, and not through the app! And until mintion understands this, problems will always arise, they have to find a way to implement it in prusaconnect. Until this happens it will only be useful as a remote optical controller for our prints

RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
I understand that with your answer you confirm that for this data to appear, the printing must be launched from the mintion app. Is that so?
On the other hand, does the blue screen problem also happen to you?

I have never used it and will never use it!! everything must be integrated into prusaconnect! I repeat and reiterate that it is only useful for watching the print remotely and nothing else
RE: Beagle camera V2 and MK4
After updating the firmware to 5.1, our MK4 will have blue screen problems from time to time after connecting to our camera. Sometimes we will also encounter a blue screen when printing via USB flash drive. We also haven't figured out how blue screen problems occur. But after returning MK4 to 5.0 firmware, it was normal again. Currently our technical department is also studying.
Also only when uploading Gcode files to camera and printing through camera , then the app will display its print information.

Hello,
Thanks for the response, I hope for good news on both topics soon.
