Using the original prusa addon fan also for cooling ?
hi there. I'm thinking about a mod to the org. fan setup.
Since it has got the hepa filter already, why not using it for "cooling" the enclosure?
I'm thinking of a duct, that connects the fan-outlet to the existing hex- cutout. Also there has to be flap inside the duct, wich closes the "hex-outlet" and opens the "original path"
to keep it easy, for the start the flap as to be manipulated by hand.

"Cooling"
keeping warm air insinde
Although i have no idea how to do it: Best solution would be a temperature controlled servo, a bimetallic or something else to move the flap. And a speed control for the fan. 🙂
What do you think of the "duct-part". could that be worth a try ?
RE: Using the original prusa addon fan also for cooling ?
There already exists a working solution for this that fits on the existing holes in the back panel of the Original Prusa Enclosure: 120mm Fan Apenture/Iris Cover
In the comments of the project you can find more information about how to connect it to sensors, microcontrollers or raspberry pis, control the servo and so on.
I have printed one to check if the hole distances are okay and can confirm that they are.
