Apologies, I should have mentioned before that I only printed small objects (maximum height 15cm) with my Prusa Mini's so this was never an obstacle for me, but those wanting this kind of set up to print tall objects should definitely be mindful of the height limitations.

I highly recommend looking into this type of enclosure if it interests you - it was pretty cheap to put together and worked surprisingly well. I had the perspex custom ordered and cut so that was probably the most costly part but in total it probably cost around £60 including the tables which people seem to pretty much give away for free on Facebook Marketplace.

I can't take credit for the build, and you're probably more likely to get the answers you're looking for from this page.

This is also a fantastic video tutorial which shows the full assembly.

Nonetheless I'll share the few photos that I've got and some relevant points. The enclosure and printers are currently for sale and semi-packed up as I've scaled up production and therefore had to upgrade to some better printers.

• Printers and slabs were placed central in the enclosure. One concrete slab per enclosure seemed to the trick and they are around 16mm thick. I also spray painted them to seal any dust.

• I cut a small inlet into the LACK tables at the back for cables to pass through. Doesn't look the most aesthetic but it does the job and it's out of sight.

• For filament, I opted this mod for Prusa Mini's which allows you to save space within each individual enclosure by mounting the filament spool onto the printer and forgoing the standard Prusa Mini filament mount/stand. There are many iterations of this, as well as alternative solutions, including some which feed filament into the enclosure through PTFE tubes but this was too much hassle for me and I didn't want to have to worry about a keep-dry solution for filament outside of the enclosure.

 playlist
