Z-axis clip view? Feature request maybe?

Hey I'm new to PrusaSlicer and coming from Creality slicer the first thing I noticed is that I can't seem to find a way to clip my view on Z-axis. Is there a menu somewhere where I could find this? I often need to double-check internal measurements or re-scale items in the slicer based on internal measurements and it is now causing me some headache not having a way to see the insides of my objects. Could we get a Z slider for editor view like there is on preview window?

There is something that may help you view the inside of your model.  The support painting tool has a 'Clipping of view' option - it creates a plane that gives you a sliced view.  I believe the plane starts perpendicular to your angle of view, and the slider determines how far through the model to place the plane.  So you could tilt the view to give you a bird's eye view of your model, then adjust the slider to reach the height you're interested in.  The orientation of the clipping plane stays the same relative to the model when you rotate your viewpoint, and it can be reset to be perpendicular to the new viewpoint if you like.

I don't believe that any measurements are possible in this mode though.

Also this is a user to user forum.  The devs dont hang out here.  Any feature requests need to be made at the appropriate place.  For Prusa Slicer that is https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues

Please follow the submission guidelines though and do a thorough search with as many keywords as you can think of for both open and closed issues first.  There are so many and every duplicate just adds to the noise.

There are existing ones about adding an x-ray mode or similar.  I should know as I asked for it, back in 2020 https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/3678

For these sort of tasks I just use different software.  3d-tool.de  They do a free version and its quite good for measuring and doing part cut throughs.
