If you have something you want printed that needs supports on the bottom few layers (like a sphere or other curved bottom edges) but don't want to waste plastic on a dense raft, you can add a primitive shape (I usually use a cube out of habit) as a part, and then use that as the bed anchor to lift the object you intend to print up enough so the bottom supports work well. I usually scale the shape down smaller than the nozzle diameter so it doesn't print, but I doubt that is really necessary. Instead of the primitive shape, you could use another object that needs to be printed that will print fine directly on the bed as your bed anchor as well.</p>]]></content:encoded>

So I cannot move it over to place it on top of the other.</p><p>Or is there a way to raise one off the base and I can slide the other one under it.</p><p>I load one object then the other which centers them over each other, but when I raise one up it drops back the the base.</p><p>Hope I have explained what I'm trying to do, or can I turn off snap to base on one of the objects.  </p>]]></content:encoded>
