I just installed the new PrusaSlicer software and I'm showing this on my bed. Do I need it? Can I turn it off?

Its the wipe tower. Its normally only on for multi material printer configurations. So more than 1 extruder. It can be turned off in Print Settings>Multiple Extruders>Wipe Tower>Enable.
