What is @pg in MK4 filament presets?
Obviously I need more coffee... but what does the @pg stand for in the filament presets for MK4?
I can't figure out how to get a meaningful search result from within Prusa Forums and didn't find anything off of a google search.
Thanks!
RE: What is @pg in MK4 filament presets?
Dont treat this as definitive but they have added the "PG" into the printer notes section. This key can be (and appears to be) used to filter out which profiles can be used for different printers. There are base filament profiles in the PrusaResearch.ini file that are using it. Lots of the other profiles are then built on that and so on. It is why its called a dependency tree.
What PG actually is short for, well your guess is as good as any other. I'd lay odds that the P is for Prusa though lol. I'd guess the G is for Generic.

My curiousity got the best of me, and I had time to kill, so I asked PRUSA support what @PG meant and they told me that it stands for Planetary Gear indicating that the filament profile works for the MK4 and XL.

Thanks for that tidbit of info. Makes sense but I wish they would actually just come out and explain things from the start.
