Weird Support problem.

Sliced and ready to print but I have a recessed area in the base that needs supports. I've specified supports everywhere, but for some strange reason the supports in this areas only appear under the three holes in the recessed area.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

RE: Weird Support problem.

Normally we ask that you save your prusa slicer project file (File>Save Project As) and then take the 3mf file it saves, zip it up and attach it.  HAs to be zipped for the forum to accept it.  With a project file we can open it and we get a copy of every setting you are using as well as the model so we can see exactly what we are dealing with.

However this should be an easy one.  'Normal' profiles usually have an option under Print Settings>Support Material>Don't support bridges.  Its a Yellow setting so you must be in Advanced or Expert mode to see it.  When ticked then support is not placed under bridges.  If you examine the colour code feature key you will see those extrusions are light blue and are bridges.

You might also want to switch to snug supports as from the limited picture it appears you are using grid.  Again with a project it would be easy to see 🙂

RE: Weird Support problem.

For any future inquiries I'll be sure to include a project file.

Thank you for your help, that was spot on!
